Ya se va terminando y como siempre, nos gusta hacer un breve repaso de todo lo sucedido en este año, que no fue poco. La crisis de la industria discográfica se siente más que nunca, y los artistas se ven obligados a toman nuevos desafíos para seguir vigentes.
Hoy tenemos lo que seguramente será, otra controversial lista, en este caso con los mejores discos del 2011, cortesía de Guitar World, con muchos regresos, artistas nuevos y varias sorpresas!!

El diseño de la portada de último disco “A Dramatic Turn of Events” de Dream Theater parece no ser tan original como se esperaba. Aunque varios detalles han sido modificados, como los pantalones, la posición de uno de los brazos… otros detalles, no dejan lugar a dudas que la banda uso imágenes ya hechas y sin exclusividad de uso.

Backing tracks de Dream Theater

Estos backing tracks fueron hechos por un fan de la banda que a partir del DVD de edicion especial “Chaos in Progress – The Making of Systematic Chaos”, aprovechando que el sonido de ese DVD estaba en calidad 5.1 y usando un poco de software de audio, logró quitar casi por completo todas las partes de guitarra.
Como es de esperarse las pistas corresponden a las canciones del noveno disco de Dream Theater “Systematic chaos”.
